Description
The Large Aluminium Storage Box – Grey Frame is a weather-resistant storage solution great for any garden to keep garden cushions or other items clean and free from weather damage.
The Storage Box can protect items inside from downpours and damp weather, thanks to the watertight seal. The box also has a mesh bottom which allows moisture out of the box and prevents your cushions from going mouldy. However, this does mean the box is not fully waterproof so we recommend you store the cushions indoors during winter months to reduce the risk of wear and tear.
We estimate that this storage box will hold approximately 11 large corner sofa cushions. For smaller cushions such as dining cushions, you will be able to fit considerably more.
This furniture is crafted using stylish and weatherproof aluminium framework as well as an aluminium lid which offers protection from rust and corrosion, even during damp conditions. The 4 side panels are made from a coated MDF wood which offers durability and strength.
Plus, our aluminium products are finished with AkzoNobel powder-coating which is an established, industry-leading powder coating technology actually recognised as the best in the world. Which offers a truly weatherproof and durable finish to the sturdy framework.
Another great feature is the handy PIR light which is a detachable motion sensor light which can be stuck to the inside framework of the box. This light makes it easier to see inside the box so if you’re packing away your cushions of an evening, you will be able to see clearly. The light is battery-operated and is a rechargeable battery. It has 3 settings: off, on or auto. The auto setting is motion sensitive and can be placed so that when you open the lid it turns on.
This furniture can be matched to existing aluminium furniture you have in your garden, using the RAL colour code 7016.
